History of York Marine

York Marine was started in 1991 specializing in fiberglass repairs and other specialized boat repair services. In 1995 the company built it's first boat, a 38' lobster boat currently being used in Penobscot Bay. Two years later, using the plans of international designer Chuck Paine and his staff, York Marine built its first 30-foot cruiser.

In the past three years the company began building high-speed jet and propeller driven yachts. York Marine's first 36-foot Jet Boat utilizing over 7 years of design work to create a hull shape that is considered by many designers the most advanced in the market. The company is continuing to expand its line offering larger and faster motor yachts.
